While Closed Beta and Open Beta users are currently receiving the update, regular users can expect a gradual rollout over the coming days. However, it’s worth noting that, for the time being, this update is exclusive to the India variant units, with users in other regions patiently awaiting their turn.

Feature Highlights of OxygenOS 14

The OxygenOS 14 firmware, with version CPH2381, introduces significant improvements to the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. Users can anticipate enhanced device performance and stability, coupled with the addition of innovative features. Noteworthy among these is the new File Dock feature, simplifying content transfer between apps and devices through an intuitive drag-and-drop function. The Aquamorphic Design has also received an update, showcasing a natural, gentle, and clearer color style, complemented by Aquamorphic-themed ringtones. System notifications now boast revamped sounds, and smoother transitions in system animations contribute to an overall polished interface.

The update further introduces Aqua Dynamics, an unexplored interaction method providing users with up-to-date information at a glance. OxygenOS 14 leverages Android 14 features to enhance system privacy and security, placing a particular emphasis on photo and video-related permission management. These additions collectively aim to enrich the user experience and streamline device interaction.

Preparing for the Update and Recent OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G Updates

Before users initiate the update process, OnePlus recommends ensuring that the smartphone is charged to at least 30%, with a minimum of 5GB of free storage space. Compatibility with the new OxygenOS 14 requires the device to be running one of the specified firmware versions, including CPH2381_11.C.33, CPH2381_11.C.32, CPH2381_11.C.31, or CPH2381_11.C.28. To manually check for the update, users can navigate to Settings > About device > tap “Up to date” > and check for updates. OnePlus cautions that the device may experience temporary heating during the installation process and may take a couple of days to fully adjust to the new system.

OnePlus has been consistently delivering updates to the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, with the recent OxygenOS 13 C.33 update incorporating the November 2023 security patch.
