According to 9to5Mac, a reference to a feature called “Invites” was discovered in the iOS 18.3 code in January. Additionally, the feature might be linked to a system component called GroupKit, which manages data related to groups of people but has not yet been utilized by any Apple applications.

Unlike the traditional event invitation method in the Calendar app, Confetti is expected to have a more engaging and visually appealing interface. Reports suggest that Apple could integrate this feature into iMessage as a mini-app, allowing users to send and track invitations seamlessly.
