Zelenskiy has voiced outrage about corruption discovered during the audit last month, following the discovery of a high-profile instance of misconduct in the Black Sea port of Odesa.
“We had a detailed conversation,” President said after meeting with Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko and the head of the SBU security service, Vasyl Maliuk, in his nightly video message.
“The investigation is revealing numerous abuses,” President stated. “And they are, quite frankly, revolting.”
The recruitment offices are being investigated as part of the investigation.
