She was part of the gold medal-winning USA U16 Team at the 2023 FIBA Americas U16 AmeriCup, where she posted an average of 11.2 points per game. Her impressive run continued in 2024 when she played a pivotal role in helping the USA U17 team clinch another gold medal at the FIBA U17 Women’s World Cup in Mexico.
Her back-to-back triumphs at the international level showcase her experience and readiness to contribute at even higher levels of competition. In addition to conference recognition, Lanie Grant also caught the eye of national media, earning the USBWA Tamika Catchings Freshman of the Week honor in December a testament to her growing reputation on the court.
